These words come to my mind when I remember Wayne. He undertook the dangerous job of teaching me to fly. During this undertaking, we made two emergency landings --- which is 2 more than Wayne had ever made before, and probably 2 more than he ever wanted to make. Both landings turned out fine -- we just experienced a few minutes of concern as (1) the engine blew a rod; and (2) the plane would only decend -- not ascend.
