Dear Family, Just wanted to extend my Sympathy to the Family . I spoke with Mayor Pollard a time or two and found him to be very kind and interesting. May he R.I.P. and remember the tears of Sorrow will eventually turn into tears of Joyful memory.

I will always remember my Great Uncle Wayne - how tall he was, his smile, his charm, and of course his booming voice. He was an inspiration to so many, and he loved God, his family, his community, and his country. My deepest sympathy to Aunt Bet and the entire family as we all grieve over this loss. Betty & family, so sorry for the loss of your husband and father. Wayne is a great loss to Glen Alpine and the First Baptist Church. He gave so much. Prayers go out for you, your family and the town of Glen Alpine as you begin to move forward in life.

Reid I am so sorry to here about your father, I know the loss of a parent because I lost my mother on July 4th. Know you and your family are in my prayers.
