Dear Villeneuve Family, I had the pleasure of working at the CACC back in 1999-2000 and Wayne was one of my preceptors and I had also trained with him for a brief period in Taekwon Doe ITF, He was also a happy very dedicated, outgoing, caring, full of integrity, and always lent a hand when needed going always over and above, he was a great advocator for his profession in EMS 911 Comm's and those he worked along side with...Wayne was a very grounded humble person and possessed many leadership...

Wayne was a neighbor and friend for many of my early years. We went to high school together and we regularly talked about our love of rock and roll music especially Led Zeppelin. I remember when he stopped by on his bike at the corner of Midway and Woodland (as he always did) and he told me he was going to join the paramedics. Terry and Ryan, today you are saying goodbye to your father which must be the most devastating event of your young lives. I am saying goodbye to a nephew who I loved, respected, and thought so very highly of. Try to take comfort in the fact that he was a wonderful person who was loved by many and touched so very many lives with his humour, his caring and his life in general.
