Not sure what to say?

Doctor Pennington sewed up my cuts, set my bones, treated me at any hour of the day or night and he even delivered my first daughter, Beth, in the basement of his home.I remember how the football team would line up and get physicals from Penny Doc. No doctor has ever measured up to him since I left Linconton. I can still see him carrying his black bag and hear his voice. My thoughts are with his family.

When I was about twelve years old I fell from a horse and had a rather large gash in my forehead. Dr. Pennington sewed it up in the basement clinic at his house. He did as well as the most skilled plastic surgeons. Oh yes, he did it while wearing his boxer shorts and under shirt. He was quite a character. I loved him!

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.Dr. Pennington always took care of me if I got sick during the summers that I spent with my aunt and uncle as a young child. He gave me the small pox vac, approximately 57 years ago, when I started school.Later, as an adult, he would remove a fish hook from my ear and tease me that now there would be no need to get my ears pierced. What wonderful memories we all have.May God Bless You All!
