Not sure what to say?

Even now, 6 years later, such wonderful thoughts of a mentor and friend. I was blessed to have known you.

Bill was a wonderful friend to my husband Ken who died 8 days before Bill did. They were childhood friends but more like brothers. They played in bands together and from what I have heard, had a lot of fun together. Rest in peace Bill, in rock and roll heaven.

I was so sorry to read about Bills death.
He was everything and more that his friends and colleagues have written.
It was my good fortune to work with Bill as a colleague and enjoy his friendship for many years while I was the Exec Vice Pres of the Florida
Medical Assn.
Not only was he an exemplary administrator, he was always the gentleman, someone you liked instinctively . He will be missed .
My sincere condolences to his wife
and family.

Bill was a great friend and competitor back in our sports car days. I never heard an unkind word from him. And he was always free with advice & perhaps a cooling drink if needed.

Over the years we've lost contact. But I'll not easily forget how comfortable Bill could always make me & everyone else around him feel, regardless of the situation. He was a truly gentle man.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Bill's family. Medical association management has lost one of our best. His contributions to Medicine were many. He'll be missed.

Bill was a good friend and colleague in association management. As medical society executives we worked together in various projects including medical malpractice. The family is in my prayers!

I am so sorry to hear about Bill's passing. I worked at KMA in 1972, 73 and Bill Applegate was very nice to me. Thoughts and Prayers to his family.

Mr. Applegate was my first real boss. I began working for him at 16 and remained at KMA until I was 30. He gave me good advice and was always kind. My Mother, Fay Miles, loved him so and he was so good to her. Many prayers for his family of which he was always so proud.

BILL AND SUSAN HAVE BEEN OUR NEIGHBORS FOR MANY YEARS. HIS GRASS IS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL ON THE WHOLE STREET AND HE WORKED SO LONG AND HARD TO GET IT THAT WAY. ALL OF YOUR NEIGHBORS WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER YOU AND YOUR COURAGE TOGETHER.
