Not sure what to say?

Millie,
My mom told me of Bill's passing. I'm so sorry for your loss and just wanted to let you know I was thinking of you and your family. It's been a long time since my days at Weises, and you may not even remember me, but you were always me of my favorite people. I lost my husband a few years ago, so I know a little about how tough this time is. Hopefully you will soon be able to replace these sad times with only the happy memories.

Take care,
Nancy Ingold

I was at the Rattlesnake National in Cross Forks, Pa. yesterday and sadly heard that Bill had just passed away. I know we have not kept-up with each other in the past 50 or so years and you might not even remember me or my wife Fran. Nevertheless, I was always proud of the fact that Millie and Bill Baird always took the time to speak to us and treated us just like next door neighbors or best of friends. Millie and family, our heartfelt condolences at this difficult time. Prayers and strength for all of you. The whole motorcycle world suffers a loss. Sorry we can't attend.

Millie, and family, sorry to hear Bills passing. Sorry we were unable to attend. I would have liked to see you all. Bill was a wonderful person and needless to say, quite the rider. Once at Peking Illinois he was one number behind me, and I saw a lot of him as he disappeared into the woods. I could hardly believe how fast he was on that Triumph.. blew me away!!!O well, those were the days, such fun!!!

From the entire Viering family to the entire Baird family,
Our deepest condolences go out to you for your loss. Out thoughts and prayers go out to you during this difficult time.
RIP Mr. Baird

I would imagine Bill has made the first check point and met up with Maxey on the eternity run, looking down watching as we honor him and his life's achievements.
