My husband and I are in our 41st year of a happy, and blessed marriage thanks in large part to Bill's gentle counseling many years ago. We are so grateful for his guidance and I think of him often. And Anne, you were the catalyst. Thank you seems inadequate. Our sincerest condolences.

Every day I look out my window across the street to The Bayard's house and feel lonesome for them. It has meant so much to have Bill and Mary as our wonderful neighbors and friends. The world isn't right without Bill.Love, Cathy and John Sanders

William Bayard was dearly loved by family and friends and has left an indelible mark on all who were fortunate enough to come into contact with him.

You have been friends of my parents since before I can remember. I do remember my Mom saying"that Bill, he swears better then any sailor""! Thank you for your heartfelt friendship these last 60 years!

He leaves a legacy of love, insight, perspective, family commitment and intelligence plus a lovely family of sons, daughters, grandchildren and great-grandchildren! His impact will be felt for generations!

I was so sorry to hear of your father's passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
