Not sure what to say?

Bill was one of a kind and I always enjoyed his charming personality. He was a good friend of my late husband Derek Akerson. And a part of our Goose Hollow family as well. RIP Bill.

Bill you were one of a kind. As one of your several first cousins, our time together was mostly when we were young. So many memories, good memories. However, in later years we did make it to The Goose together. As in the lead line on Cheers...everybody did know your name !!i God bless my man.

Your cuz, Stan.

We’re going to miss you Buddy. So many good times, from the NOLA Jazz Fest to meeting up in SFO. Always an adventure and plenty of laughs from the Pride of Portland.

Sleep well Billy Boy. We had some laugh's in the day, that's for sure. Your obit was spot on and described you to a tee.

Ah, Godspeed Bill.
I well recall his wit at The Goose!
And how he used it to flirt relentlessly @
There were many of such times....

met Bill at Goose Hollows and was so impressed by his huge charm and knowledge of Portland history...including his family in that part of it. Was so proud of his Scottish heritage and we shared that fact because I, also , had that very same historic pride. Have not seen him in many years, but will always remember his wit and laughter.

What a roll!!! Sharing an apartment in San Mateo in 62, partying in SF, socializing in PDX and hanging at the Goose. Good friends to the end. Good memories to hold onto.

Bill was a neighbor on Talbot Road....we continued our friendship in San Francisco in the ‘60’s. RIP Bill!

A good friend, always delightful entertainment and most enjoyable drinking mate, especially if you were buying.
