Just happened on the news of Bill's passing into the Great Silence; very sad indeed. We were in the same class for a few years in New York before he departed for boarding school and subsequently bumped into each other from time to time at various functions, the last one being in 2006 at the 125th anniversary of the Knickerbocker Greys. RIP, Bill.
