Not sure what to say?

God bless you Bill. I never knew until today. Remember our talk about St. Joseph. I prayed to him for you today to reassure myself you are better off than ever. Judy Joyce Tomsic

God Bless Bill, I was lucky enough to meet Bill back in the 76' President Ford Days. We of course shared all the wonderful years with our special Governor Pete Wilson. I am sorry I didn't spend more time with him recently. Time is precious and we need to live each day like it is our last. Love to the Brennan family. Karolyn Dorsee

We will miss Bill and am so grateful for getting to know him and his family.

Bill was my best friend growing up in Santa Monica and we stayed in touch ever since. He was always optimistic, full of energy, deeply proud of his family and loyal to all his many, many friends.
Our friendship was based largely on competitive sports---especially baseball football and later, golf; Bill was a superb athlete, very competitive and courageous. Growing up we all thought he was most likely of all of us to make it to the professional sports level but a bad knee made that a...

Saddest news ever - Bill was a special person who only knew one emotion - happiness and he shared that with all he knew. I first worked with Bill during the Mike Curb campaign and we spend a Saturday hunting pheasant followed by a 49er game on Sunday which to our great surprise was the game of "the catch" and the beginning of the 49er reign - we created and our families and friends won the first annual (and only) bowling tournament - Bill is now a special member of the heavenly host...

Bill organized a great bowling league during the governorship of Pete Wilson. I was fortunate enough to play in the league with the only non-Administration team, The Business Jackals. I have great memories of all the laughs, high-fives, and camaraderie that the league provided to all of us, and it was all because of Bill. He knew how to bring people together and have fun, fun, fun! Clearly he touched many people. I feel fortunate to have been one of them!

Worked with Bill on the Coastal Commission during the Wilson Administration and remained in contact with him and friends since -- so glad Bill, Jim Branham and I were all able to attend the March Madness NCAA games in Sacramento together this past year. Bill's optimistic spirit was evident as we reminisced about past times, issues and stories. Bill was a walking history of the California political scene and always knew some of the inside stuff that was so fascinating. Our friend -- and he was...

So sad to hear. I knew Bill working at DMV and he was a very kind, good hearted person. He always had a smile on his face. May he RIP.
