Not sure what to say?

Sorry to hear of Bill's passing. He was a true pioneer in the cable business. My kindest regards to his family, especially to Pat.

When I returned to cable in 1988, with Bresnan Communications in Duluth, I had a brief encounter with Mr. Bresnan. I was very impressed that the namesake of the company would take the time to learn a little about local "new guy." I was proud to be associated with Bresnan Communications. RIP Sir.

It was with much sorrow that I learned of Bill's passing. I had the good fortune to be Bill's secretary during the difficult years at TelePrompter. Under all the pressure, Bill kept his positive outlook and good humor. He was respected by all the staff. Bill was not only a good boss, but a good friend. My deepest sympathy is extended to all the family. I will keep him in my prayers.

I came back to Bresnan Communications after remembering what a challenging and fun place this is to work. After reading this guest book it’s clear that initiative came directly from Bill.

Thank you Bill for providing us with a special place called work to grow and learn about being a better person, a leader, a follower and a steward of blessings and resources.
Your ability to inspire will be sorely missed but not soon forgotten.

My condolences and prayers go...

Having just learned of Bill Bresnan's passing, I'm full of sorrow. Anyone who has had the pleasure to know Bill either socially or in business has been touched for a lifetime by a truly good and generous soul. I consider myself lucky and better for having knowing him. To Ann, Pat and all the family, you have my deepest and warmest sympathy. He will be missed, but he will also be remembered.

CableTV has always been about the people we work with through the years, and Bill was one of the best. I started cable with Teleprompter in 1978 and have worked half of my years working for Bill's companies. He created the environment to make people want to do great things. The entire industry was guided by his leadership, and we are better for it. I am very proud to have played a small part of it through the years, and continue to follow him today.

been a pleasure working for Bill. Thoughts and prayers to his family. Sincerly, Doug Martin Kalispell

Early in my career I came to work at Bresnan Communications and quickly found a place that would challenge and inspire me. Having the opportunity to work with Bill directly and to learn from his experience was something that has certainly changed my life. There are many stories that come to mind from those years, and they all seem to be examples of the kindness and caring that was Bill Bresnan. Truly a Mensch if there ever was one. Bill, you will be missed.

A heart is not judged by how much you love, but by how much you are loved by others. Bill, the church was packed.
