Not sure what to say?

Hello -- I was a 1965 SDHS graduate and worked as a monitor in the Vice-Principal's office. Mr. Burroughs was a great man; patient and caring with everyone. He was even understanding with the kids in the outside office, pretending not to see them when they were hiding their cigarettes and "toys,"while they waited to see him. KBH

You were one of the best VP's at SDHS. So understanding. You will surely be missed. Prayers for your family. It was my privilege having known you in school. God Bless!

Bill Burrows was one of the nicest and kindest men I've ever met. Patrick and I will always remember him with great fondness. Love to his family, especially Clark.

What a great man!!! He was a friend and co-worker at SDHS with my Dad...Mr. Maxwell...the choir director. I remember how much they admired each other...and when I went to SDHS he was the "boys" Vice Principal. He was so handsome...so nice and such a BIG man...in so many ways!!! I hope you meet up with Dad in heaven...and you can talk about SDHS!!!! LuAnn

If it had not been for Coach Burroughs, at San Diego High School, along with Coach Maley and a teacher named Ruth Price Weise, I would either be dead or in jail. I graduated in 1951 and Coach Burroughs opened the door of life for me and I walked through. He was a giant in my memory and was responsible for any success I have had in my time on this plane. I will miss him.

Burrows family, condolences from Bob and Lizann

As one of my school principals he will be remembered fondly. He was always helpful and friendly during our formative years. Rest peacefully Mr. Burrows.

I was so glad to meet Bill at Chey and Brandons wedding. Who would have thought my highschool principal's grandson would marry my granddaughter.
It was such a wonderful day . My condolences from all of our family Tina Matranga

So sorry for your loss Cindy. You and yours will be in my thoughts and prayers.
