Not sure what to say?

I was so sorry to hear about Frank's passing. Frank was my sales manager for three summers back in the late 1980's. It is hard to believe that he is gone. He was such a great guy. I learned a lot from Frank during my three summers of selling books. His words of motivation and encouragement have and always will be with me. Jan, you and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

I'm truly sorry to hear of Frank's demise. Your family has been in our thoughts and prayers. We pray that God's peace and comfort will surround you during this difficult time.

I just read of Frank's passing. Frank and I grew up together and went elementary through High school. Played football from optimist through high school. Frank was a good friend and one of the only school mates that took time to call me upon the passing of my dad. I haven't seen Frank in years, but when I think back on my high school years, Frank is one of the friends I think about. Frank's family is in my thoughts and prayers. Just know Frank was one of the really good guys!!

I am very sad to hear of Frank's passing. We have lost one of the greats.

Frank was my Sales Manager for my two years with Southwestern after I finished my enlistment in the Army and began my degree program at UNC. I sold under Frank and Tim Knight (another great) in New Mexico with Student Manager Greg Furlong in 1991 and in Nebraska in 1992 with Student Managers Greg Furlong and Mike Amend (both excellent Student Managers and great bookmen themselves).

Caroline, Jan and family, my thoughts and prayers are with each of you. Franko was a one of a kind! The few times we were together at a Mercer event he was the life of the party! Always joking, making people feel like his long lost friend. I know he will be truly missed. Hold tight to your faith and memories. God bless you all. Love Tracie McIntyre and Joe Murphy

My thoughts and prayers are with you in this time of grief.

Frank was truly a unique ONE OF A KIND individual. I have many good memories of him during our time together at WCU and on the book field. Since I heard of his passing, I've reflected on them with smiles and chuckles. Wherever Frank went, he lit up the room! He, along with fellow Southwestern book salesmen Rick Desoto and Jim Huskey, had a profound effect on my life, helping give me the confidence I could succeed at whatever I tried, as long as I worked hard and maintained a positive...
