Not sure what to say?

Those of us at Amazon, who worked with him, were saddened to hear of his passing. He was always smiling and friendly. He will truly be missed. Our prayers are with the family.

We are so saddened at the loss of William. Our family enjoyed spending Sabbath meals with you. The hospitality that you showed us and the genuine smile on Williams face as he welcomed us to your house will always be remembered

We are overwhelmed at this unexpected loss. Our love for your family goes deep in our hearts. William was special both my husband and me as well as our children. His smile and warm personality made us feel the genuine hospitality in the Carter home as we shared many Sabbath meals together. May God carry you through this terrible loss.

Love the Hankins Family

William was a such a thoughtful person with a good heart. I worked with him at Amazon. He always had a smile on his face which lit up even more when he talked about his family and mentoring young kids. I'll miss swapping recipes and gardening tips but mostly our conversations about faith. I know he's in a better place. My sincere thoughts and prayers are with his family right now. He will truly be missed.

To Elnora, Charles ("Noon"), Patricia and family:

Oh, the shock and sadness when I learned of William's death!!! I had known William's parents for many years--his mother attended my family's church, and his father lived on the same street. I remember William as a little boy, who had interest in many things, including insects. He was a mini-walking encyclopedia. Later William was kind, very generous, helpful, respectful, smart/knowledgeable, etc., etc. and very...

My sincere and heartfelt condolences are sent with you Pat, your Mom and Dad, and everyone who loved your brother William. May God fill your hearts with laughter and joy as you remember William and how much he loved each one of you. Those moments can never be taken away and are with you forever!

Billy was a good friend who always tried to make everyone else around him smile. I really enjoyed getting to know him through work and being able to call him my good friend outside of work.
I will keep his family in my thoughts and prayers as they go through this trying time.... He sure will be missed!

William will be missed by a multitude of people, including myself. But, I am sure, our sense of loss, can not compare to the loss the Carter family must feel. He was one of the people I looked forward to seeing when I went to church. He was a wonderful man, with a playful spirit, who loved his family with a great passion.
