Bill was admired by all and will be sorely missed. In the early 50s He was my teacher, coach and mentor. at Bessemer High school. The thing he taught me about leadership and teamwork have helped me all through life, I will miss you Bill. Now may you rest at peace in the arms of our Lord.for ever.

Dear Ann,
I am deeply saddened to read about Bill's death. My sincere condolences go to you, your children and grandchildren. I enjoyed talking to Bill whenever he joined you at our BHS Class of 1949 reunions over the years. May you be comforted by your memories of the long marriage that you and Bill had.

Mr Clark was a family friend and someone whom we admired. His leadership as a teacher, coach, Principal and Superintendent brought excellence to the Bessemer City School system and inspired a generation of students. Mary Reynolds Miller
