We will sincerely miss Uncle Bill. He was a truly wonderful Uncle and a very good friend. He helped our family pay for college (we paid him back!) and it really made all the difference. He will be greatly, greatly missed. Love, the California Cowleys

Uncle Bill will be greatly missed. I sure wish I could pick up the phone and talk with him again. Will miss our many phone calls. Sending lots of love and prayers. Love, Cousin Jane

Offering our deepest condolences during this difficult time.

I was saddened to hear of Bill Cowley's passing today when the news came to my ears. It is Wednesday, and he passed this last Saturday. Rose and I have spoken of him several times this week, but we had been unable to discover his whereabouts since he left his assisted living center for a rehabilitation facility a few weeks ago.

Bill was a good man, as men are accounted in this world. Never perfect (as he would be the first to admit with a wry smile, I am sure), but always...

Mr. Bill, thank you for being a friend for so many years, and for your support as a brother in Christ. Your gifts of good humor, story telling, music, and singing jump to mind whenever I think of you. I am sure the Heavenly Choir has welcomed your voice among their membership. Until we meet again, my friend!
