Not sure what to say?

An incredible man, an astute diagnostician and clinician, ahead of his time. He did seminal research and co-wrote a book on autologous blood transfusions years before it became an accepted practice. He touched a lot of lives. He was a great teacher.

My thoughts and prayers are with Dr. Bill's family. Even though I haven't seen him in a long time, we was my father's (Frank Dalessandro) cousin and my God father...he was a wonderful man and will be missed.

My prayers to all the family on the loss of a great person. I knew Dr. from Augustana Hospital when I worked there. He was a great, passionate and caring doctor.

We only had the privilege to physically meet Bill a few times, but I feel we know him extremely well due to the amazing stories from Judy of their long amazing life together. This was truly a love affair for the ages! May God be with all of his family and friends.

We met Bill through his amazing wife Judy. He was funny, caring, and had a wonderful spirit. Although we only met him physically twice, We feel we have known him for year through the beautiful stories from Judy. There is not a doubt, theirs was a love affair for the generations. Our prayers go to Judy and all of the family. May God be with all of you! Lisa and Cecil Garcia

I am a graduate of Augustana Hospital (RN). I first met Bill when I was a student nurse (1961-1964). He was highly respected Dr. @ Augustana Hospital. When other Dr.s were having problems they would have a consultation with him. He was instrumental in starting the Coronary Intensive Unit. He introduced me to my husband. My deepest sympathy to Judy & his family. He had a great & productive life.Irene Puder Borg.

Great friend ,great doctor , fair golfer, but he loved the game. At one time the Mayor of Rush Street.I will miss him. Sleep well old friend.

Bill was an excellent cardiologist during his time on staff at Augustana Hospital & his practice on Sedgwick Street. He is remembered fondly by the Walzel & Giometti families for his care & professionalism. Our thoughts & prayers go out to his family.

Our condolences to the family. Dr. D was a very dear friend of the Michelotti and Durpetti families. He was one of a kind and a great doctor. We will always miss him.
