William Howard DYKES

Mr. Dykes popped in my head this morning for no reason and I googled him only to find out he had passed in 2010. Both he and his wife were staples in the community I grew up in and were fine people. Mr. Dykes was the photographer that took our yearbook pictures every year at the small high school I attended in Mt. Juliet (MJCA). He and his wife were both beautiful people inside and out. I worked with Mr. Dykes at the Soil Conservation Service in Nashville. I was the HR Assistant when he retired and he was such a wonderful person to be around and talk with. His life story was very uplifting and I am sure he will be missed by all who knew him.

I did not know Mr. Dykes, but reading his obituary made me smile. A life well lived! I'm sure his family has wonderful memories.
