Thank you Billy for tour hospitality and kindness when I visted you! Cousin Roland from Sweden

Peter, the boys and I were always glad to see Uncle Billy show up at one of the games.Whether it was Football or Baseball, sometimes rain or shine. We were glad to see him. The holidays we spent with him were filled with stories about the "old" and "new" sporting legends and statistics. He was truely "one of a kind" and he was fun to have around. My parents (Howard & Evelyn Elander) send their thoughts, as well. We will think about you often.

'Uncle Billy' will be sadly missed by all of us, especially by Cindi (Elander) Erlandsson and children Dax, Sonny, Vanessa and Reggie. His passion for educating us about various sports teams, their rivalries and current stats (at all of our holiday get-togethers) will never be forgotten. Sleep well, Uncle Billy.

In his day, when Bill felt well, he was one of the best people for whom I've ever worked! He was generous to me and my family and we will always remember his goodness, as well as his friendly nature.

We will all miss Billy's clever wit and enthusiasm for high school sports, trains and historic facts.
