Not sure what to say?

Dear Ferrys - so saddened to learn of Bill's passing through my parents. I have fond memories of your whole family gathering at Easterly many a summer. Bill's great sense of humor, ready smile and laugh, and joie de vivre linger still: we have thought of him and all of you as we look out over East Grand of an evening. Rest eternal grant him, O Lord, and let light perpetual shine upon him. And may our dear friends know your peace. ~ Rev. David "Tad" Drysdale II

It is with great sadness that I write this note. Bill was an extraordinary person. He had a way of listening that made you feel you were the only one in the room and would respect your effort as a valued contribution. Bill was the one that allowed me to be the first woman to represent the Woolrich line and allowed me to grow in my chosen profession when it was a rarity for a woman to be accepted in that field. And for that and more, I will always be grateful to know that I was his friend.

May the God of all comfort sustain your family during the days ahead Psalms 119:76

Our sincere condolences to the Ferry and Hindle families. We hope that his good life and wonderful memories you have with him will bring you comfort during this sad time.

Our deepest condolences to the entire family... What an impact Bill had on so many, and what an amazing legacy he leaves that lives on in his kids and grandkids. We feel blessed that we had the chance to see Bill periodically on the Cardigan campus in recent years... Hugs and love to all.

So sorry to hear of Bill's passing. He was in some ways larger than life, always a beacon of inspiration and optimism to those he met. He was a consummate family man, a loving husband and father. His charm and sense of humor made him pleasant company for friends and strangers alike. Heartfelt condolences for Scott, Chad and Taylor and families for this sudden loss. We will always miss Bill but have been blessed to have known him. Congratulations to Bill for a life well lived!

Underneath the accolades was a family man with a beautiful legacy. My heart goes out to the Hindle, Ferry' and Kurtz families. Lovingly, Dan Margaret will and Bridget Beaton

It was a pleasure knowing Bill for even just the brief time that I did. I will miss his smile and funny comments. It was an honor to have known such a kind man.
