Dear Hess Family, I worked with your Dad and he was such a kind and sweet man. I remember his smile because he smiled constantly and made those around him smile. When I ran into him at Berks Catholic after not seeing him for many years, he still had that same sweet smile. He will be missed! To the Hess family: I was sorry to hear of Bill's passing. What a nice man he was! I was fortunate to get to know him. When I first met him, he said "I'll remember your name; I have a granddaughter with the same name!" We had great conversations about his younger years, but mostly about his family and sports, specifically watching the grandkids play. Thinking of you all.

Sincere sympathy to Billy and Donna. Your Dad was among the best! He always reached out to others and helped in every way possible. He and your Mom are reunited and resting in peace. May happy memories fill your hearts with peace and love
