Not sure what to say?

I served with Bill on the Erie County American Legion Honor Guard, providing military honors for our deceased veterans. Regrettably, I was out of town at the time of Bill's wake and funeral and so was not able to participate in the ceremony that Bill performed for so many. The whole team misses him greatly.

I am a sister who does not know how to say goodbye.
It seems that of all the sad things I may endure the saddest is saying farewell to Bill. To have had a brother like Bill was to have experienced a very special gift for he was very special.
There will always be a place in my heart for the one I call brother.
Love forever,

The news of your husband death deeply saddens me. I am without words and don't know what I could possibly say to help you through this difficult time. Other than you, Bill and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. The few times I met your husband I could see how very special he was, my fondness memory is how he lit up when he saw his grandbaby. He was totally captivated, it was so cute. If there is anything I can do, I'm just a phone call away.

"Willy" was my good buddy through my entire childhood. He was always smiling and his antics made me laugh more than anyone else ever could. He was a member of my church, and a very good person. His life left this world a much better place to be a part of. Bill, Rest in Peace.

My heartfelt sympathies to Bill's family and circle of friends, which are apparently large and loving. I went to school--Jr. and Sr. high at Clarence with Bill...he was the wittiest, funniest kid in the class and had real "class" as well. Obviously his warmth and humor as an adult has touched and affected so many around him. God bless you all.

Dear Raphael and Family: Our deepest sympathy on the loss of William. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. All our love to you, Michele and her family and to Nicole, May Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, be with you always.

Cuddles,My prayers go out to you and your family.God Bless you and give you the comfort you need at this time.

Bill was a member of our Veteran's Team at the fairgrounds. Great, friendly, involved veteran who be missed.

Rick and Family, our thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family. May your memories bring you some comfort during this most difficult time.
