William Mauer Obituary
Born and raised in the Frankford section of Philadelphia, Mr. Mauer has been a resident of Levittown for 47 years.
He received his Bachelor's degree from New Mexico State University and went on to work as a civil engineer at McGuire Air Force Base for many years.
Mr. Mauer was an Air Force veteran serving as an Air Traffic Controller during the Korean War.
He was a member of Queen of the Universe parish and was a member of the Mary Spouse of the Holy Spirit prayer group.
Mr. Mauer was the beloved husband of Valerie Mauer for 62 years.
He was the loving father of Christopher, Simon, Sean, Brendan and Juliet Mauer, Mary Furini, Genevieve Sassaman and Penelope Dukes.
He will also be missed by 15 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, his brother Robert Mauer and several nieces and nephews.
Services and interment are private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Queen of the Universe Church, 2443 Trenton Rd., Levittown, PA 19056.
