Not sure what to say?

Although I am not of blood, I am of kin. However I am very proud and honored to have known your Father.
He was one of the most honorable, knowledgeable and respected men I have known in my lifetime. Although I only had a limited amount of time with him and will never know or get a chance to listen to all of his wonderful tales, stories and life experiences, I loved and respected who he was, what he stood for and the way he treated others. He was a rare breed, honest to the very core, and...

Dad and Mom-we miss you, but we will all be together again.

Wishing you eternal rest. After 10 kids you've earned it! :)

I flew with Ben in Houston from 1975-1989 - he was always a real gentleman and pleasure to fly with. He and your mother will be greatly missed - his conversations always included many good stories about about her and his children during those long flights across the country. May God bless your family and comfort you with many great memories during the coming years.

To the survivors of "Bene" and Doris,
I don't believe that either was a member of Delta Golden Wings, Inc., a fraternal group of active/retired Delta pilots. But, I, as secretary, send condolences to each of you on behalf of all our members that either knew of or flew with "Bene" on-the-line. He WAS "one of us" - a proud Delta pilot." We know he will be missed by those that loved him and spent time with him.

May God's richest blessings be...

Goodbye Gentle Ben

I am a retired Delta flight attendant, and flew with your dad for a long time out of the Houston base. He was by far one of the most wonderful pilots Delta ever hired. His children and his wife were his whole life. He loved everyone of you so very much, and we were blessed to be entertained by his stories! Your father was a great, great man....and I will always remember him fondly.
