William F. O'Connor, age 93, U.S. Army Veteran, CPD Retiree, and born Sept. 10, 1916, died Jan. 11, 2010. Resident of Westchester, formerly of Berkeley. He was the beloved husband of the late Lillian, nee Tyrrell; loving father of Donna (Patrick) Berry, William F. (Karen) O'Connor, Marianne (Fred) Bero, Martin J. (Joyce) O'Connor, Patrick J. (Karen) O'Connor, Eileen (Dale) Voelker; loving grandfather of Kathleen (Daryk) Brayton, Elizabeth (Darrin) Davy, Megan (Eric) Evenson, Theresa (Matthew) Hansen, Ryan (Abby) Berry, Julie (Anthony) Jasinski, Fred (Michelle) Bero, Melissa (Paul) Nelms, Kerrianne O'Connor, Sarah O'Connor, Kevin O'Connor, Kyle O'Connor, Courtney O'Connor, Patrick O'Connor, Brian Voelker, Katie Voelker, Kristen Voelker; loving great-grandfather of Hailee Brayton, Mercedes Brayton, Sean Patrick Brayton, Blake Davy, Madeline Davy, Nicholas Davy, Daniel Davy, Brandon Evenson, Benjamin Evenson, Bret Evenson, Jack Hansen, Henry Hansen, Lillian Hansen, Parker Jane Berry, Emily Nelms, Matthew Bero, and Ryan Bero; fond brother of Catherine (Harold) Palm, John (Polly) O'Connor, Robert (Mary) O'Connor and Arlene (Thomas) Loftus; fond uncle and cousin of many. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Margaret (nee O'Connor) O'Connor; his loving wife Lillian; two daughters, Kathleen Ann and Patricia Ellen; two sisters, Margaret (John) McNamara, Mary (Edward) Lessman; two brothers, Maurice (Anne) O'Connor and Cornelius (Mary) O'Connor. Friends will be received at the Conboy-Westchester Funeral Home, 10501 W. Cermak Rd., Westchester, IL ( 2 blks. W. of Mannheim Rd.) on Thursday, from 3 to 9 p.m. Funeral Friday at 9:15 a.m. from funeral home to St. Domitilla Church for 10 a.m. Mass. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
