William G. Poynter of Speedway passed away on Thursday, April 11, 2019 at the age of 100. He was born on September 13, 1918 in Indianapolis.  


William served in the U.S. Navy during World War Two before working as a lithographer for Burford printing. In retirement he enjoyed playing cards, golfing and fishing.


Survivors include his children, Beverly (Bill) Delp and Frank Poynter, and 5 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
