Not sure what to say?

I've known Bill and Kathleen since I was in kindergarten. I grew up good friends with Billy and Bob and Jack, worked hard and played hard. Bill was no nonsense but loved a good laugh. I loved his basement trains and his running them and showing off his detailed landscapes. All our love to the family, Tom and Tracee.

I met Bill when my car was stuck along the road and he stopped to help. I was new to the neighborhood and we soon discovered our oldest sons went to first grade together. Bill and Kathleen became lifelong friends to Jim and me. Bill was always kind and had a ready wit. Prayers for the family.

Bill was definitely a man you never forget. I haven't seen him since the 80's when he was a regular fixture at Wickham Studio. I was in my teens back then and he left enough of an impression that I never forgot him. Tough as nails but a very kind person with a very quiet wisdom about him.

Bill Schrodel was one of those "bigger than life" individuals. He was a very hard worker, he was loyal and opinionated and enthusiastic about the people and things he loved. He was also amazingly creative - with his train layouts, his great variety of interests and especially his beautiful zen gardens. He is not a man you could ever forget, just one you´ll always miss.

Bill was a classmate in the Frederick High School Class of '58. I remember him as one of the "good guys". Condolences to his family---he will be greatly missed. jim putman

Condolences to the family of a brother Mason. May he rest in peace.
