Not sure what to say?

To the family of Deacon William Serman, we extend our condolences in the passing of the man of God. We worshipped at the Pilgrim Baptist Church and were taught by Dea. Sherman when we lived in Hamilton. His knowledge of the word was outstanding. We will always remember him and cherish the time we had with him on this side of heaven.

Tuesday started out a cold day, but when the chiming hour came to say farewell to a man of God, the sun shined as did the Father when He welcomed your father home. I worked with Mr. Sherman at Mosler for 15 years he was truly a man of dignity, respect came to him because he was a man of the faith. I'm truly sorry for your loss and your hearts will be heavy but find peace in knowing your father is with His Father receiving his crown for a life well lived that honored God in everything he...

A good friend of my family for many years, beloved by my late parents Rosa & Milton Flowers, a classmate of my late brother Milton Jr., Deacon Sherman will be missed by us and all those who knew him. A Christian to the core! Like all who heard him sing, I enjoyed hearing him. There was authenticity in his teaching, music and his life. Heaven has a new resident, and while I am sad, I rejoice for William. On behalf of the Flowers families, we offer our sympathies and love to the Sherman...

To Mr. Sherman's Family,

My prayers and thoughts are with you. Thank you for sharing him with all of us. He will always be a part of the Gillespie family. Mr. Sherman's love, compassion, and thoughtfulness is the example for all men to live by. There are not enough words to express how much he impacted my life. I thank God for his beautiful presence.

Dear Sherman Family,
The Lord Bless you with his sweet comfort! I will miss my Sunday School Teacher. I am praying for you during this difficult time. You will be all right! Hold to God's unchanging hand!
With love and Care,
Freda Sutton Hardaway

My heart is with you all during this time of grief, hopefully the good times will be remembered quickly to over ride this sad occasion. Sorry I could not join you at this time, but my heart is with you. God Bless you

I will always remember Mr Sherman with fondness. Our family and my grandmother, Mrs Londer Hill affectionately referred to Mr Sherman as her other son. He was always so kind to me and gifted me several times over the years with his famous sweet potato pie! I spoke with his daugther, my dear friend Robin recently. She told me how proud she was to be his daughter. Can you imagine how proud God is! He was a rarity among men in this world today! Robin and family you were blessed to have such a...

And now, he sings face-to face with the angels in heaven, worshipping and praising our Great God and Savior. God's peace to the Sherman Family.

May God continue to Bless Mr. Sherman and his family. He was a good and kind man and we will miss him. Gods Blessing.
