Not sure what to say?

Sorry to hear about your loss. Bill and i were good friends as I was a door gunner also. We spent a week in Saigon together on a mini vacation. We had a great time there and I always think of that week. To a great solder and a good friend. God bless you
Wayne Boatwright
170th AHC 1970-1971

My condolences to the Stratton family. 170th CE '69 and fellow Virginian.

I was Williams Company Commander, 170th Aviation Company, Kontum, Vietnam. He was an excellent soldier, a comrade to many of us remaining, and will be greatly missed by all.

TO THE STRATTON FAMILY,
MAY GOD BE WITH YOU ALL AT THIS DIFFICULT TIME. YOU ARE ALL IN OUR THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS.

Sorry about your loss! We were in the same company in Viet Nam 1970. I pray that your family will be blessed in memories as you were in life.

William was assigned to the 170th Attack Helicopter Company during his tour in Vietnam. What made this unit the most elite in Vietnam was the long and arduous duty days he and his pilots performed daily. We the surviving members of the 170th AHC send our sincere condolences to his family. He will be missed by all.

LUCY AND FAMILY, I AM SORRY TO HEAR OF WILLIES PASSING. I'LL ALWAYS REMEMBER THE TIME I STAYED WITH YOU ON THE FARM.
THOSE ARE SOME OF THE GOOD TIMES AND WILL REMEMBER ALWAYS. YOUR COUSIN, HELEN JOHNSON DAVIS
