Not sure what to say?

I don't even know what to say. I fell in love with “String” years ago due to his persona. Our relationship was difficult but I stood by his side from a distance. What I find so totally strange is that he passed on my birthday and what caused us to contact was that when we first met I knew is name and knew he was 25 and it was the first time we had met. Totally caught his attention. That is just kind of creepy to me. This makes me so very sad, so very, very sad. He was a beautiful...

Had so many wonderful times growing up with Bill @ Sequoia, Percy Priest, and HHS - He is in my thoughts and prayers

Sharon
I just heard about Bill. He was a good friend. Regards to you

I greatly enjoyed Bill's friendship at UT and feel honored to have been his Sigma Chi fraternity brother. He made an indelible impression on me and I have thought of him often over the years. I am very sorry to learn of his passing.

Sharon,
I am sorry for your loss. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Sharon,
I'm sorry to hear of Bill's departure. I recall the backyard softball games with Bill and you and all the Hillsboro Park kids at your house long years ago. Great times and fond memories and on to HHS days. Prayers to you and your family.

Biii "String" was the sharpest guy I knew at UT I'm proud to have called him my friend, roommate and Sigma Chi fraternity brother. He is finally at peace!

Bill was a wonderful young man
I was proud to know. My condolences
to his family.

For over 50 years the Stringfellows were neighbors. I always enjoyed Bill and found him engaging. It seems like yesterday we were playing catch in the back yard.
