William Heber Tippetts, age 74, passed away April 4, 2014.
Bill was born on October 13, 1939 in Delta, Utah to Heber May Tippetts and Hazel Fern Nelson Tippetts. He married Carla Lee Seely on July 14, 1962 in the L.D.S. Manti Temple. Dad loved being involved in the baseball and Scouting activities that his sons were involved in. Dad also earned his Silver Beaver Award.
Bill is survived by his children, Wayne Del Tippetts, Jay H. & Melinda Tippetts, Matt & Jody Yelsma, Willis & Michelle Kenner, Robert & Sunny Tippetts and Richard Tippetts; 16 grandchildren & 4 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, Carla Lee Seely and son, Brian Kent Tippetts.
Funeral Services for Bill will be held Thursday, April 10, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the Jordan North 16th Ward, 4100 South and Bangerter Highway. Friends may visit on Wednesday, April 9, 2014 from 6 until 8 p.m. at Valley View Funeral Home, 4335 West 4100 South; and one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the Ward. Interment: Fairview City Cemetery.

Bill was a big gentle guy who loved being involved in his and the other kids in Rose Park base ball and foot ball. I think I may have assisted him at times with his son Jay. I think it was Robert that was playing with one of my sons. I am sorry for your loss and was glad to be around him and his sons.

Bill was a generous man. He played Santa Claus, every year at our Christmas party. We always had our grandchildren, and his grandchildren. A memory I will always cherish. My condolences to the Tippets family. Always, Kay Kenner
