William J. Walsh

I was deeply saddened to hear of the passing of my first cousin Bill Welch. Bill, Dorothy and my wife and I spend many days together discussing our family genealogy and he was a wealth of knowledge to me in that capacity. When I moved out of New Jersey in 2015 I lost contact with Bill and was just recently made aware of his passing by another member of the Welch family. Perhaps of all the stories that Bill passed on to me was the one that he seemed to enjoy the most about the mixup created...

All Maloneys were very sad to hear the news but proud and lucky to have had Mr. Walsh as part of our family since the 1930s. A good, holy and long life dedicated to family, God and Country set such a great example for so many, including our kids. It may be hard to believe, but he told us many, many, many stories about my father, mother, and grandparents that I would have never heard otherwise.
