Family-Placed Death Notice
WATTS, William WILLIAM CLAIBORNE "SPARKY" WATTS William Claiborne "Sparky" Watts, 82, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, March 16th, 2010. Born January 8, 1928, Sparky was well-known and held in high esteem by all who knew him. He graduated from the University of Georgia and was an avid Georgia Bulldog fan. He never missed watching a football game, knew every player's statistic and could easily quote game scores from many decades past. He was proud of his service in the Armed Forces. Sparky was a member of the legendary "Characters of Buck- head." The legacy he leaves to his friends and family was his ability to live life to its fullest. He is survived by his son, Clay Watts, his two grandsons, Jonathan and Christopher, and numerous friends. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made, in memory of Mr. Watts, to The Bulldog Club, P.O. Box 1472 Athens, GA 30603, with checks made payable to the UGA Arch Foundation. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, March 23rd, 2010 at 4 PM, H.M. Pattersons & Sons, 4550 Peachtree Road, Atlanta, GA 30319. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 3:00 PM until 4:00 PM.

I was always glad to see you and play your songs "Bang Bang Choo Choo Train" as well as my personal homage to you- "You Don't Have to Put Up With All The Malarkey, Just Give A Call To Mr. SPARKY!"
