William Weaver Jr.
William "Bill" Weaver Jr., 57, husband, father, grandfather, brother and son, passed away suddenly on Friday, Jan. 26, in Eugene, Oregon.
He is survived by his wife, Denyce; daughters Christy and Jamie; his father, William R. Weaver Sr. and stepmother, Roseann Weaver of Coaldale; his brothers Rick, Walker Township, Ty, West Penn Township, and Tommy, Frackville; sister, Lori Kershner of Palmerton; stepsister, Sherry Cook-Pengrin, Ringtown; and nephews and nieces.
He was predeceased by his mother, Glorya M. Delp; and stepfather Norman E. Delp of Tamaqua.
Bill served in the U.S. Air Force for 20 years and retired a Master Sergeant. He served in Kuwait during operation Desert Storm.
After retiring from the U.S.A.F. he drove a truck for his father William R. Weaver Sr.
Afterwards he attended Kutztown University and obtained a bachelor's degree in business management. He then worked at the Pennsylvania Department of Welfare in Allentown.
Prior to his passing, he was working at the Oregon Department of Human Resources.
Born on March 21, 1960, at Camp Lejeune, N.C., he was a son of William R. Weaver Sr., of Coaldale, and the late Glorya M. Delp.
Services: Thursday, Feb. 15, in Trinity United Church of Christ in Tamaqua. Visitation from 10-11 a.m., with a service at 11 a.m. Interment will be Indiantown Gap, National Cemetery , Annville, at 3 p.m. on Feb 15. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the E.
