Willie Rex Abels, 72, a retired mechanic, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2007, in Waxahachie. Graveside service: 2 p.m. Saturday in Proctor Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday. Survivors: Daughter, Teresa Morgan; stepdaughters, Lisa and Lynn; sister, Margaret Churchwell.
