I was so saddened to hear of your loss of Willie. I will always remember his smile and enthusiasm. He was such an inspiration and a great teammate. I pray that God will comfort you during this time of loss.

Thoughts and prayers to the Royster family. May God comfort you at this time. Willie was a great team mate and friend, with an infectious smile that lit up the room.

I am privileged to have know this beautiful Man. Willie was a presence on and off the field. Watching him catch and lead the players was like a symphony Every evening as Willie left the park. his smile lit up the halls and my heart. I was both a teammate and His managed in Charlotte the year Willie went to the big leagues. A great person and friend. Someone who always made others better. My deepest sympathy to his family. May he live forever with our Lord.

I am saddened for the passing of Willie but I know he's resting with the Lord now. Willie was not only a great ball player but a greater person and awesome teammate. Rest in peace brother Willie.
