Not sure what to say?

Ruth,Gary,Lois and all of the Erskine Family. Dad and I just learned today, (Father's Day), of Roger's passing. So sorry to hear of your loss. I'll never forget the time back when Gary & I were just kids, how Roger took the time to help us get an old jeep running that he had out back behind his garage. Dad and I always liked Roger and thought he was a Honorable Man, and I know that my Grandmother & Grandfather, Doris & Harold Gray also thought a lot of both Roger and Ruth as well!

Dear Ruth, Lois, Gary, and other family members:

So sorry to learn of your loss. As with many others, I have fond memories of Roger - going back to the days of being a student on his bus run. He had such a quiet, calm and caring way about him. For those who may have "acted up" on the bus, they knew that Roger seldom stopped the bus to settle any disputes among the kids, but when he did ... there was an immediate hush on the bus. Roger was a very fair man -- well...

May memories bring you comfort.

Fond memories of Uncle Roger, back too the first day i rode the school bus. I also remember his smile it was special.
. I know my Grammie Norris (Eunice) is with you and both enjoying Heaven. Much love to all my Family.

Ruth, Lois & Gary: I was deeply saddened to hear of Roger's passing. I'm sure he's up there now talking things over and telling stories about his days in the garage with Richard. I know he used to love to go up there and spend time with him, sometimes arguing over politics. He will be deeply missed. Gloria J. Orcutt

Very sorry for your loss. Roger was a great man. I rode his bus for years and will always remember him fondly.

Roger spent lots of his time caring for his wife Ruth these past several years.....I often saw them outside when I walked every day and would stop and chat with them. Roger showed me his pink poppies...I marveled at how pretty they were and took a picture of them. He gave me some seed and I gave him the picture later that summer. He was a great gardener and was often seen weeding..one day he was weeding their peonies and a fox was in the yard across the road from his house chasing...

To all of the the Erkine Family so sorry hear of his passing , as you all know Roger helped a lot of people in need , while he ran his Garage , I was one of these , and also rode his bus for years , awesome man rest in pease Doc
