Xiao Hu was a brilliant hard working colleague. All his discussions with me were about his two wonderful children's education and how proud he was about their accomplishments. I was so saddened when I learned the news that Xiao Hu left us. My deep condolences to the family! Xiao Hu and I work in the same building, but in different departments. Every time I bumped into him in cafeteria or hall way, he was always smiling and then eager to chat about science and/or recent projects we were working on. Truly a beautiful mind and a great person! We will all miss you. May you rest in peace in a better world!

We will quite miss you Xiao Hu. We overlapped during our years at Brown and then crossing each others road at many venues. I was very sadden when I heard the news of his sudden departure.
