Not sure what to say?

Dear Yvette

Thanks for being such an inspiration to myself and many other young athletes during the sixties and seventies. I will treasure forever the relationship we had and you will always be close to my heart as a coach, mentor and last but not least a dear friend.

Rest in Peace Yvette.

I am saddened to hear Yvette has passed away. I managed to get to Auckland last year and enjoyed sharing some time with Yvette, reminiscing over bygone days of playing basketball with Buddy. My sincere condolences to all your family.Yvette and Buddy were great friends and I have many wonderful memories.

Yvette thank you for being a treasured friend to Clare.
The rummikubs will be ready and the kettle on.
Don't forget to take the score cards and the rule book.
That sporting Aussie Kiwi rivalry between the two of you will be on again!

It was an honour Yvette for the Parker family to be part of your life and thank you for all the wonderful memories.

Buddy,Bill and Clare are sure to have a party waiting.

Our thoughts and love are with...

My thoughts and love to Neville, Peter, Karen, Bruce and families at the loss of your dearly loved Mother.

Farewell my dear friend, Yvette
I have treasured our friendship over the years, which began during our school days, competing in Athletics and riding horses. In later years you chose Athletics and I chose horses.
I have enjoyed following your sporting career and your families achievements.
I still treasure your letter you sent me from Helsinki after you won...

Sincere sympathy to you all at this sad time. What a beautiful lady whom I had the privilege to meet along with Buddy, at my home here in Invercargill, as Myrtle (my Mum) & Garry were staying at the time. What a legacy of beautiful memories she has left for all to share, of all those legendary moments.
Thoughts are very much with you all at this time
Kind Regards
Diane McLean

Dear Karen; your brother Neville and family and all the extended "Corlett Family"

Please accept my heartfelt condolences at the loss of your Mum "Yvette" who I consider as the "The Mother & Princess" of Women's Sport in our nation. Who by her incredible efforts paved the way for all young "Kiwi" women to actually achieve not only in sport but in every endeavor so that all women could equal the achievements of men in any field.

My childhood is filled of memories of going on holiday with your family and ours. Such happy days. Sadness fills our hearts that you have now passed. You are now with Buddy. Be at peace. Love aways from the Hodgson's. Derrick

Deepest condolences & prayers to family for your loss. Yvette was a wonderful lady in so many ways, we are all so grateful having knowing her & Buddy. Thanks for all the memories. RIP Yvette.
