Not sure what to say?

Hi Coach Grafe, Sorry to learn that you passed away. The last time I ran into you was in the blockbuster in Sugarland. You looked good at the time and we chatted briefly and I was glad to know that you were okay. You were a great teacher and sorry that I was not an easy student. Thanks for the advise you gave me for college. It was the first time anyone actually spent time talking about this with me. I grew up to be a responsible adult. Thank you for what you taught me in Clements. ...

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Zack was one of the best Algebra II and Geometry students any teacher could ask for. He was very focused and self motivated. He was a great problem solver!! Not to mention an excellent high jumper. I was Zack's high school math teacher, track coach, and confirmation sponsor. God bless you and your family. We will keep all of you in our thoughts and prayers.

Zach, from competing against you while we were in jr. & high school @ H-ville to being Teammates on several Intramural Squads and taking classes w/ you @ UT; you always made time to ask about how Rhonda & I were doing. I'll always remember you as a MAN that put everyone else First b/c you truly Cared. May you Rest in Peace & your family grow up to remember what a wonderful person you truly were!!! God, please watch over his family!

Coach Grafe was my history teacher in 2000. He was such a caring teacher. I will never forget how he brought our class bagels on the last day of school. He impacted so many people at CHS, and his strength through his tough times was such an inspiration to me. My prayers go out to his family and I hope that his children will always know what a wonderful man and teacher he was. May you rest with the Lord for eternity, Coach Grafe.
