Ann Richmond Anspach Naples, FL
Ann Richmond Anspach, 58, of Naples, FL, passed away after a brief illness on February 24, 2009. She was born in Danville, IL on November 24, 1950 and lived in various islands in the Caribbean and in Miami before moving to Naples in 1995.
Ann attended the University of Missouri and completed her education at Florida International University. While in the Caribbean, she managed small luxury resorts in Spanish Wells, Bahamas, Cayman Kai on Grand Cayman and Third Turtle Inn on Providenciales in the Turks and Caicos Islands.
After returning to the United States in 1987, she became a certified public accountant. Her career as a CPA began at McKean, Paul, Chrycy, Fletcher & Co in Miami; she then became a partner at Wentzel, Berry, Wentzel & Phillips in Naples and in 2008 established her own firm, Anspach & Associates.
She is survived by her mother, Phyllis D. Richmond of Champaign, IL and was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth L. Richmond.
Ann's life was characterized by her love of adventure, distinctive sense of humor, compassion for those in need and mastery of any task she choose to undertake. Her life had many varied chapters and she excelled at them all in a way that for those who knew her was uniquely Ann.
A visitation celebrating Ann's life will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, February 26th (TODAY) at the Naples Memorial Funeral Home & Cemetery at 525 111th Avenue North, Naples.
Burial will be at a later date in Hoopston, IL.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Youth Haven, 5867 Whitaker Road, Naples, FL 34112.

As a friend and neighbor, I was saddened to hear of the untimely passing of Ann. She was one of a kind, a most caring and compasionate person to all who knew her.
