Charles Vernon Tubbesing Fort Myers, FL
Charles Vernon Tubbesing, 94, of Fort Myers, FL formerly of Avon, OH passed away November 2, 2012.
Charles was a 2nd Lieutenant, in the Air Core trained as a Bombardier pilot for WWII. He was an avid reader who especially loved books about WWII. He had a passion for planes that stayed with him his entire life. He worked as an accountant for Mobil Oil Corp. before retiring in 1982. Charles was a quiet humble man. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather and uncle.
He is survived by his children, Jane TubbesingKolczun, and Robert (Cathy) Tubbesing; grandchildren, Scott Tubbesing and Ellen Tubbesing.
Charles is preceded in death by his loving wife of 65 years, Blanche M. Tubbesing; parents, Adaline (Greb) Tubbesing and Charles Fredrick Tubbesing.
Private Entombment will be held in Avon, OH.
In lieu of flowers memorial donation in Mr. Tubbesings name may be made to the Zonta Club of Naples P.O. Box 10911, Naples, FL 34101.
