Betty Harriett Harwell

1925 - 2013

Betty Harriett Harwell died after a brief illness on the morning of Thursday, January 31, 2013 in Naples, FL. Her son and daughter were at her side.

Betty was born on July 29, 1925 in Maryville, MO, the daughter of the late Charles and Golda Harriett.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Max Harwell; and her daughter, Susan.

During her life, Betty was a homemaker and raised her family. She also held a number of varied jobs.

Betty's survivors include daughter, Debrah Ayoub and her husband, Paul of Naples; and son, Jeffrey Harwell and his partner, Matthew Helmerich of Key West.

Betty's grandchildren, Danielle DeHoyas, her husband, Carlos and Darcie Cristy, live in Fort Worth. Rick Belber and his wife, Jessica reside in Tuscarora, PA. Betty has great-grandchildren, including Henry, Morgan, Joaquin, Max, Bianca, and Mykel. Surviving siblings include Marguerite Hunter, her husband, Bill, and Charlene Stine and her husband, Art.

The family will hold a private memorial in the springtime in Fort Worth.
