Bartholomew (Bart) E. Plescia

Bart Plescia passed away on January 17, 2021, having lived for 90 wonderful years.

He is survived by his loving wife, Pat, and two children Bonnie (Bill) Stanley, Gerry (Lorraine) Plescia and two stepchildren Pamela Conary and Scott Conary. He enjoyed the lives of five grandchildren Jessica (Joe) Griffith, James (Alyse) Stanley, Ashley (Niko) Gkionis, Jaclyn Stanley, Gerry M. Plescia (deceased) and great granddaughter, Sienna.

Bart's life's work was as Executive Director of Boys & Girls Clubs in New Jersey and Connecticut. After retirement, he was a consultant in the building of the Boys & Girls Club in Naples, FL. Many young people, over the years, looked up to and remembered "Mr. P."

Bart was an avid barbershop singer for 62 years with the Barbershop Harmony Society. He was a member of several medaled quartets and directed several successful choruses...making many life-long friendships. Bart was also an avid golfer and had the pleasure of golfing with dear friends over the years.

A cremation has taken place and the ashes will be interred at the National Military Cemetery in Sarasota, FL. Services will be held there at a later date.
