Sadly, I just learned of Betsy's passing. My condolences to her family. She was a sweet and adventurous lady indeed! I met her as we were about to take our very first balloon ride in France in 1986. Then in 1990, there was more ballooning and touring with Betsy and others. I cherish the wonderful memories, conversations and photos of those trips. I will always remember her fondly.

I was saddened to hear of Betsy's death. I had the pleasure of meeting her and sharing meals with her while I was a resident of the Arlington this past December/January. I was happy to get to know her, however briefly, and enjoyed our talks, especially about her life in the Navy. She often talked about what a wonderful sister-in-law she had and how good you were to her. My sympathy to you and your family.
Sincerely, Marian Baran, Naples, FL
