Jerry graduated from Xavier HS in NYC and Notre Dame in 1957, following which he served six years active duty in the US Navy. He continued his military service in the Naval Reserve for twenty-two years. Jerry Lunden had a long career in advertising sales and retail gourmet cooking and restaurant supply. Thanks to Noe Mayotte, I have an opportunity to post in this book. Jerry was a fixture in the Philadelphia office and way back in the late '70's we met. Our conversations were about many things but it was clear he loved cooking and eating really good food. Not sure if he preferred to eat well or prepare the meal more. A friend always even though our path strayed for decades. All the best to you.

The advertising world was made a better, more interesting place when Jerry Lunden carried a bag and rate card for McGraw-Hill for more than 30 years in the Philadelphia office. He was a associate, he and Barbara were occasional travel companions and warm hosts at their retreat "down the Jersey Shore...but more importantly he was a friend. May he rest in peace with Barbara and Michael.
