Francis Gerard (Jerry) Lunden

Francis Gerard (Jerry) Lunden, 82, of Naples (formerly of Philadelphia) passed away peacefully March 22, 2018. Born September 22, 1935 in Brooklyn, NY to Edward G. (Doc) and Helen Daly Lunden. Jerry graduated from Xavier HS in NYC and Notre Dame in 1957, following which he served six years active duty in the US Navy. He continued his military service in the Naval Reserve for twenty-two years. Jerry Lunden had a long career in advertising sales and retail gourmet cooking and restaurant supply. He is survived by his children Mark (Mary Pat) and Tracy, as well as his grandchildren Jay, Jeff, Leah, Jack, Caroline, Elizabeth, and Matthew. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Barbara (née Bockus) and dear son Michael Patrick.

Jerry leaves a legacy of faith, laughter, and love. Incredibly passionate about family, faith, Notre Dame, food, travel and scotch. He and Barbara loved to travel and had dozens of close friends everywhere. He was generously philanthropic and donated both his time and resources to Parkinson's Foundation and numerous other causes.

A funeral Mass will be held at St. Patrick Catholic Church 13591 Prosperity Farms Rd, Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33410 at 11a.m. on March 27, 2018.
