Gilbert Anthony Testa, 91, of Naples, Florida died peacefully Thursday, February 7, 2019 with his wife and two

daughters at his side. Gilbert was born to Anthony Testa, and Virginia Rossi on October 25, 1927 in Clairton, Pennsylvania.

Gilbert graduated from Clairton High School in 1945 and then attended Duquesne University and received his degree from Penn State University. He served his country during WWII in the US Navy, and with the US Air Force in the Korean War. Gil married Patricia Baker in 1968, and they lived together in Rochester Hills, Michigan until his

retirement in 1996. Gil was a prominent advertising executive in the Detroit area for over 25 years, most notably as co-owner and Vice President of R.J. Baker Advertising, Inc. of Troy, Michigan. After retiring and moving to Naples, Gil enjoyed golfing and was active with his church, St. John the Evangelist, where he sang in the choir.

Gil was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Testa who also lived in Naples, and his brothers William and Richard. He is survived by his wife, Patricia, and his 2 daughters,

Alysia Testa and Shelly Testa, as well as his niece, Patti Testa Kessler and her family. He will be greatly missed by the many friends he made throughout his long lifetime.

A Mass will be held in Gil's honor at 1pm on Tuesday, 2/19, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 625 111th Ave N, Naples, FL 34108 followed by a reception at Stonebridge Country Club, 2100 Winding Oaks Way, Naples, FL 34109.

Memorial contributions may be made to Avow Hospice, 1095 Whippoorwill Lane, Naples, FL 34105.
