Naples, FL

Margaret Ann Eakin-Siegel, 95, passed away December 26, 2018. Peggy as she was commonly referred to resided at the Beach House Assisted Living Community in Naples, Florida.

She was born December 25, 1923 in Cambridge, Ohio and had been living in Naples since 1982. In her early lifetime she served as a secretary to the commanding officer of the Army's 5th Service Command in Columbus, Ohio. A former member of the State College, Pennsylvania Presbyterian Church, she taught Sunday School as well as volunteered for many years at the Center Community Hospital and was active in an International Goodwill organization. After

moving to Naples, she became active in local politics and volunteered many years at the Naples Community.

Peggy was originally married to James H. Eakin Jr., a WWII veteran whom preceded her in death in 1976. She remarried Richard L Siegel whom preceded her in death in 1997.

She is survived by her sons Jeff Eakin of Denver

Colorado, Larry Eakin of Carlisle, Pennsylvania and Ken Eakin of

Centennial, Colorado. Her brother was William Tribbie of Columbus, Ohio. She was blessed with six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. While retired in Naples Peggy enjoyed spending time with family, enjoying the beach, friends and travel. After moving to Aston Gardens Retirement Community she continued her love of art while enjoying her many new friends.

Funeral Services will be held in the coming weeks at the Centre County Memorial Park in State College,

Pennsylvania.
