Randi Goldstein Ferguson
Estero - Randi Goldstein Ferguson was born June 9, 1942 in Rochester, New York to Armand K. and Phyllis Goldstein, Randi passed peacefully at the family residence, The American House - Coconut Point, Estero, FL on January 12, 2021. Known for her perpetual joyous smile and warm heart, she was beloved by all.
A graduate of Brighton High School, she lived for a year as an exchange student with a family in Mexico City. She graduated Cum Laude from Vassar College, Poughkeepsie, NY, majoring in Spanish.
Randi commenced her business career at the international headquarters of The Bankers Trust Company in New York City. There she met her husband of 53 years, Jim. The couple was blessed with a wonderful daughter, Kristen. Later the family was fortunate to live in Cleveland, Ohio for nearly three decades. Randi resumed her career and was an accomplished and successful banking executive and was active in charitable and civic affairs.
Randi retired in 1997 and the couple relocated to Pelican Sound Golf & River Club, Estero, FL in 2001, and to The American House in 2018. She particularly enjoyed summering in Killington, Vt. She was an avid fan of the Cleveland Browns, Indians and Cavaliers, and of nearby Roy's Hawaiian Fusion Restaurant.
Preceded in passing by her brother, Stephen K. Goldstein, Randi is survived by her husband James S. Ferguson (Estero, FL), daughter Kristen
N. Ferguson (Fort Myers, FL) sister Nancy Dornic (Nice, France), and many loving cousins, nieces and nephews.
Private family services will be held.
