I worked for them in their hardware store in St. Petersburg, FL back in 1984 for a month or so. I've often wished I'd kept in touch after taking a job at George Cain Glass & Mirror. In the short amount of time I knew Mr. Gerry and Miss Rolande, I had already begun to think of them as kindly mentors.

I grew up remembering Gerald. I was little little girl about 2-3 and to this day I remember and still have some of his art in my home. I played with Kari. Would love to connect with her.
My mom n dad were very good friends. I’m sorry for your loss.

What a remarkable artist and a kind, gentle soul. I was so lucky to have known and worked with him--and will be reminded of him whenever I see a mango tree. Rest well my friend.

I didn't know Mr. Brynjulson personally, but I loved his paintings! The first time I saw his work was during a Fifth Avenue Art Show years ago. It was a painting of a Caribbean woman selling her red snapper. Unfortunately, I was too late with my decision to purchase that painting, and it sold to someone else. From then on I hit every art show in Naples early the first day hoping to find that Mr. Brynjulson had another comparable painting. I was finally rewarded with "The Basket Weaver." It is one of my favorite paintings. Mr. Brynjulson will live on not only through the wonderful memories of his family and friends, but also through the beauty of his paintings. He will be missed.
